was founded in Athens in 1981. The company provides a wide range of
services in the fields of Business and Corporate management, Information
Technology, Rural Development, Fishery and Aquaculture to clients of
the public and the private sector The company is one of the founding
members of the Association of Hellenic Management Consulting Companies
(SESMA), which is the Greek body of FEACO (European Federation of Associations
of Consulting Organisations). Lamans operates according to the international
standards of the Management Consulting Companies. Today Lamans is staffed
with 24 senior consultants employed on a permanent basis as well as
a number of external expert associates, who participate to a number
of projects according to the expertise requirements.
In the last few years, the company has exhibited considerable growth
rates and has expanded both vertically and horizontally. The company
established recently Lamans of Western Greece S.A and is also a main
shareholder of Per Mare Research SA, an applied research company, offering
versatile solutions in aquaculture. In 2000, it absorbed the personnel
of Nireus Fisheries & Aquaculture Consultants S.A. In 2001 LAMANS
acquired the personnel and the activities of Anagnopoulos Planning Consulting
Ltd (APC) a consulting firm with expertise in aquaculture matters.

CV's of leading personnel
Nikos Anagnopoulos (born in 1955) studied Biology
in the University of Athens (Greece, 1974-1979). He performed postgraduate
studies in the Institute of Biological Exploitation of Lagoons of the
National Council of Research in Lesina, Italy (1979-1980). He has more
than 22 years of experience in the field of Consulting for fisheries
and aquaculture related projects as he worked in the General Directorate
of the Greek Ministry of Agriculture (1982-1988), as a head officer
of the Department of Aquaculture Planning and Development of the Hellenic
Agency for the Development of Local Authorities (1985-1990), and the
private consulting companies ZANTE FISH LTD (1988-today) and Anagnopoulos
Planning Consultancy LTD (APC; 1993-2001). From 2001 he is a share holder
and the General Manager of LAMANS SA. He has participated in more than
200 studies dealing with aquaculture, fisheries, Market Research, costing
and financial consulting services.
George Triantaphyllidis (born in 1967) studied Biology
in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece, 1986-1990). He
holds a Ph.D. in Applied Biological Sciences from the University of
Ghent (Belgium, 1991-1995) and he realized post-doctoral Research at
the National Center for Marine Research in Greece and at the University
of Athens. He participated in applied projects of live food production
& manipulation of their nutritional profile for aquaculture applications
(microalgae, rotifers and Artemia). Since June 1999 he is working in
the private sector in the field of R&D and consulting for fisheries
& aquaculture related projects. He participated in applied projects
of live food production & exploitation for aquaculture applications
(microalgae, rotifers and Artemia) and new species development (Solea
solea and Octopus vulgaris) and has been involved in various national
and international projects, having expanded the areas of services provided
to project management, business planning, re-engineering, and research
and development planning.
Leonidas Papaharisis (born in 1971) studied Fisheries
& Aquaculture in the Technological Educational Institute of Mesologhi
(Greece, 1989 - 1993). He holds an Advanced Diploma in Total Quality
Management from the Technological Educational Institute of Chalkida
(Greece, 1999). Since September 1995, he is working in the private sector
in the field of Consulting for fisheries and aquaculture related projects.
He has great experience in Aquaculture projects, Quality management
and Seafood Hygiene. He participated in applied projects of Coastal
Fisheries and Sport Fisheries.
