Argosaronikos Fish Farms SA (Greece, SME)
was founded in 1992.The main company activities are the
production of sea bream (Sparus aurata) and sea bass (Dicentrarchus
labrax) using floating cage installations in Pirgiakoni,
Salamina, Greece. Its annual production reaches 250 tonnes
of fish, which are mainly exported to major European markets.
The company invested also on land based facilities, which
comprise of a packaging facility with a total capacity of
350 ton per year. The packaging facilities are equipped
with state of the art automatic fish sorting unit and all
operations are under HACCP control.
The latest addition to the farm’s land installations is
a fully operational hatchery with total production capacity
of 3.000.000 fish fry.
The company is currently planning to expand further showing
exceptional interest in producing fish of supreme quality
satisfying all national and international quality assurance
standards.
