Lot 2: Strengthening Laboratories and Technical Institutes (including training)

The minimum activities to be covered under this Lot are: assist the governments in laboratory accreditation, design laboratory floor plans, specifications and supervision of works for setting up laboratory facilities, procure laboratory equipment, accessories and materials, set up suitable sanitary and quality control assurance systems and routine environmental and residue monitoring plans, develop sub-regional professional networks, train laboratory staff in chemical and microbiological testing methods used for health controls of fishery products and mollusks and for the control of veterinary medicines in aquaculture, etc.

The Expert Profiles requested are:

• Laboratory specialists with experience in recognized private or public agencies, training or research institutions on microbiological testing, heavy metals analyses and other toxicological or chemical analyses
